A HOUSEBUILDER whose developments include The Banks at Silsden has appointed a new land director.
Richard Coy has joined Harron Homes Yorkshire with two decades' experience in the construction industry.
The 41-year-old started his career at Barratt Homes and has since worked with various firms, including Avant and Bellway.
"I fell in love with the industry and discovered an underlying passion for land which I've been pursuing ever since," he said.
He has managed the creation of developments ranging in size from 36 to 800 homes.
His appointment is welcomed by Harron Homes Yorkshire managing director, Tony Lee.
"It's an incredibly exciting time at Harron and we’re thrilled to have Richard on board to drive us forward in seeking land opportunities across Yorkshire," he said.
