A CULLINGWORTH couple who run a popular bike shop have won recognition in a prestigious awards scheme.
Paul Corcoran was a finalist in the Business Man of the Year category at the Yorkshire Choice Awards.
And wife Sandra was nominated in the Business Woman of the Year section.
Also, their shop – Pennine Cycles, in Thornton Road, Bradford – was up for an award in the independent business category.
The awards ceremony, hosted by journalist and broadcaster Christa Ackroyd, was held at Leeds United's Elland Road stadium.
Pennine Cycles was praised for remaining open throughout periods of lockdown, helping to keep cycle-using NHS staff and other key workers on their bikes for commuting during the pandemic – and opening early or late to accommodate customers.
