A HOUSING group which manages more than 1,400 properties in Keighley and Bradford has triumphed at an awards ceremony.
Manningham Housing Association picked-up accolades in the Northern Housing Awards ceremony, at Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester.
The association’s community engagement team won the Team of the Year Award for delivering Building Bridges Bradford, a pioneering venture designed to bolster community resilience and bring together people from different backgrounds.
And former Keighley councillor Cath Bacon was named Tenant of the Year.
Also, the association was shortlisted for the Landlord of the Year title.
Nasir Hussain – Manningham Housing Association community partnerships and investment manager, who collected the trophy on behalf of the community engagement team – said: "I am proud of every single member of the team."
Cath, who is also vice-chair of Bradford District Credit Union and a governor at Airedale Hospital, said she was "honoured" to receive her award.
