A HAWORTH woman is hosting her latest annual coffee day in aid of Manorlands.
Kath Neal is staging the event at her Sowden's Cottage, Dimples Lane, home on Thursday August 18 – between 10.30am-4.30pm and 6.30pm-9pm.
Everyone is welcome.
Kath has held the coffee days since 1993, although one event – in 2020 – had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
Over the years they've grown in popularity, with increasing numbers of people enjoying tea and coffee, cakes and attractions including tombolas and raffles.
Last year's was the most successful yet, raising £4,161 for the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice.
Since they began, over £62,000 has been coined-in.
It costs £10,000 a day to run Manorlands, most of which has to be raised through donations.
