NORTHERN – which runs rail services on the Airedale line – will not be operating any trains next Saturday (October 1) or on Wednesday October 5 due to further strike action by the RMT and ASLEF unions.
And passengers are warned to "check before you travel" the following mornings, when services will be affected by fleet displacement.
Strike action is also taking place on Saturday, October 8, when a skeleton timetable will operate. Passengers are being advised not to travel.
Tricia Williams, for Northern, says: "We apologise in advance for the significant disruption and inconvenience this action by the RMT and ASLEF unions will cause to our customers.
"As we have previously pledged, we will continue to work towards a resolution to this issue with the hope of avoiding more disruptive strikes in the future."

The strikes are the latest in a series staged by the RMT and ASLEF, which are in dispute over pay, jobs and conditions.
