POPULAR locally-based band Last Orders is headlining at the 130th Groovy Happening in Haworth.
The long-established outfit will be playing rock 'n' roll, blues and country covers from artists such as Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen, Dire Straits and Bob Seger.
First up at the event is Corporate Tramps Unplugged, with an acoustic set. The duo, Jay Morgan and Theo Speller, will be returning later in the year with the full band.
Second on stage is Tonight We Ride. The band – comprising Lee Crabtree on vocals and bass, guitarist Wayne Marshall and Tim Gilroy on drums – will perform classic sounds of Americana.
The event takes place upstairs at the Parkside Social Club on Saturday, July 1.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Admission is £5, cash payments only, with all proceeds going to Manorlands.
Over the years, Groovy Happening has raised £47,750 for the hospice.
