A KEIGHLEY opticians has celebrated 30 years in its town-centre store.
Specsavers marked the milestone by staging a raffle and other fundraising activities in support of Keighley Imagination Library, which distributes free books each month to children aged up to five in the town's East, West and Central wards.
Fundraising at the Queensway store kicked off with an event officially opened by the town mayor, Councillor John Kirby.
It included arts and crafts and a bouncy castle.
Overall, activities raised £650 – enough to supply 25 children with books for a year.
A Keighley Specsavers spokesperson says: "We are thrilled to have celebrated this incredible milestone, which has only been possible through the continued support of our amazing customers.
"Not only did we want to mark the occasion in recognition of all our staff and customers, but we also wanted to raise money for an incredible cause. We wish to thank the community for being so generous and making it possible to raise over £600."
