A VETERINARY receptionist from Glusburn has been shortlisted for a prestigious industry accolade.
Tina Jackson Woods, of Ashlands Veterinary Centre, is a finalist in the 25th Petplan Veterinary Awards.
She is among three people in contention for the Practice Support Staff of the Year honour.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on Thursday, March 21, being held in Manchester.
More than 38,000 nominations, made by clients and colleagues, were received across five award categories.
And finalists were chosen by an independent panel of industry judges.
Tina has been shortlisted in the awards programme twice before – in 2016 and 2018.
"It’s lovely to be a finalist as it shows that clients appreciate what I do," she says.
"I love my job at Ashlands and the people that I work with.
"I've been here 14 years. I know a lot of people, the animals they have and those they have lost. Many clients have become friends and I love helping them as much as I can."
