A CROSS Hills care home turned back the clock at its summer fair.
Townend Close residents enjoyed a singalong to wartime tunes, and staff donned period costumes.
Veterans from the area were also invited to attend.
Guests at the event included Skipton Royal British Legion chair George Martin and his wife Janice.
A wide range of attractions included welly wanging, egg and spoon races and raffles, plus there was live entertainment from the Tango Man.
Lian Heaton, manager at the Anchor home, says: "Everyone had a wonderful day. It was great to see so many people, with everybody singing along to old war songs and engaging with others."
The fair coincided with Townend Close submitting an application for Veteran Friendly Framework status.
Designed for use in residential settings for older people, the framework helps care providers offer appropriate support for any veterans living in homes, to address their wellbeing needs.
