GREEN Drinks – an initiative for environmentally-minded Keighley people – has unveiled details of its next meeting.
Guest at the event will be Alan Thornton, co-founder and director of the Fruit Works Co-operative.
The social enterprise helps communities across the district to grow and maintain fruit trees.
Anyone is welcome to attend the meeting, at Moonstone & Magic, in East Parade, on Tuesday, September 17, from 5pm.
Green Drinks is supported by Keighley Big Local and Participate.
Shaun O'Hare, for Keighley Big Local, says: "Fruit Works' mission is to enable more people to grow their own fruit."
He adds: "The Green Drinks meetings are helping to build stronger relationships, both professionally and personally. We are seeing some great outcomes from this – ranging from collaborative working to sharing opportunities and accessing resources, both human and financial, helping business to grow in the town."
