IT seems appropriate to introduce ourselves to Keighlians during this Heritage Open Days period, because heritage runs through everything Keighley Civic Society does.
We'll be at the civic centre this Saturday (September 14) to show you what we've been doing during our first year and listen to where you think we should concentrate our efforts in the year to come. Perhaps there's something in your neighbourhood that needs putting right or requires some TLC, or there's a huge project like the Dalton Mills development that you want to know more about? Perhaps there's a small corner where you live that needs protecting, or a bit of Keighley you think we should be showing off!
We'll be there from 11am until 2pm and want to hear your views, so come for a chat and a cuppa – we'd love to hear what YOU think Keighley needs to make it an even better place to live!
Jane Lee, secretary, Keighley Civic Society
