RATTLESNAKE Blues are headlining at Haworth's latest Groovy Happening.
The band, formed just earlier this year, is making its debut at the monthly charity event.
"This foot-stomping vibrant band is from the crossroads of rock and blues," says a Groovy spokesperson.
"Think infectious, driving bass; gritty guitar riffs and soaring vocals.
"The band has already brought its electrifying sound to a handful of festivals and clubs."
Up first will be 19-year-old singer-songwriter Ethan Bailey.
Bradford-based Ethan, who played at Groovy two years ago, is in the process of recording his debut album.
"He has a voice beyond his young age and is definitely one to look out for in the future," said the spokesperson.
And next on stage will be Groovy newcomer Underverse, described as a "rock band with a funky vibe".
The spokesperson adds: "They will perform original songs based on their shared love of 70s, 80s and 90s rock and metal."
The latest Groovy Happening – the 144th – takes place at the Parkside Social Club on Saturday, November 2.
Doors open at 7.30pm.
Admission is £5, cash payments only.
All proceeds go to the Oxenhope Sue Ryder hospice Manorlands.
Since the event began, £52,550 has been raised.
