A CONCERT is set to create waves.
Silsden Singers and the Settle Voices community choir, under the leadership of Janet Russell, will perform sea shanties.
The event – Sing to Save Lives – takes place at Silsden Methodist Church, Wesley Place, on Saturday, November 2, from 6pm to 8pm.
Choir members will be joined by Mike and Helen Hockenhull, Joel Griffiths and Steve Jones, of the Bacca Pipes Folk Club house band.
All proceeds from the concert will go to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), which this year is celebrating its 200th anniversary.
People attending are asked to make a donation of £5 or more.
Light refreshments will be available at the interval, for a donation.
