A NEW community hub is being launched on a Keighley estate.
A 'grand opening' of the New Keith Thompson Centre, at The Ring, Braithwaite, takes place next Saturday (January 25).
Attractions at the event – between noon and 4pm – will include family-friendly entertainment, a raffle, tombola, food and refreshments, and a guest appearance by Keighley Cougars star Josh Lynam.
Admission is free.
A spokesperson says: "The Keith Thompson Centre has long been a cornerstone of the Braithwaite community, creating cherished memories for generations.
"Now – with the launch of the new facility – the community aims to continue that legacy, providing a space where people of all ages can come together for events, activities and support services.
"The reopening has been made possible through the support of Bradford Council and generosity of local businesses, alongside countless hours contributed by volunteers and a passionate committee determined to restore and revitalise this community hub.
"Everyone is welcome to join us for the grand opening. It marks the beginning of a new chapter for Braithwaite; the centre will serve as a hub for future generations, continuing the spirit of community, friendship and shared experiences."
