I WANTED to share with readers news about a very special dog.
I got Lucy in 2012, when she was eight weeks old.
After a few months she sat near me when I had a seizure, and subsequently would sit next to me 15 minutes before the seizure occurred.
In 2016, with the help of Medical Detection Dogs, Lucy qualified to be a medical alert assistance dog for me.
We go everywhere together, and all who meet Lucy fall in love with her.
She has now 'retired', at the age of 12, but I am sure she will never stop looking after me.
Lucy changed my life as soon as she entered it – she is my best friend and soulmate.
