A SECOND book featuring people's memories of an ancient Keighley woodland is to be published.
The first book, containing reminiscences and photos of Park Wood, has proved a huge success following its launch late last year.
Now Friends of Park Wood, who were behind the initiative, are planning a follow-up publication.
And people are being invited to provide contributions for the new booklet at the group's annual general meeting, which takes place this month.
A Friends spokesperson says: "The AGM will celebrate memories that local people shared about Park Wood for our first booklet, copies of which will be available on the night. The Memories book has been so popular we are publishing a second one this year with a whole new collection of reminiscences, and we will be asking people to contribute during the AGM."
The meeting – at Long Lee Methodist Chapel on Wednesday, March 26, at 7pm – will also include reports covering some of the Friends' main projects and achievements of the past 12 months, and a look forward to the coming year.
There will be a Park Wood quiz, and an opportunity for people to ask questions.
And committee members will be elected.
Anyone is welcome to attend.
Friends chair, Eric Yaffey, says: "The annual general meeting is a fantastic opportunity for local residents to find out what we have been up to and what our plans are for the future.
"The meeting is a great way to connect with others who care about our wood. We welcome anyone to attend and get involved."
The Friends' work is dedicated to looking after the wood.
A work party group congregates on the first Saturday of each month to carry out conservation activities, litter picking and general minor maintenance duties. The group meets at the bottom of Dale View Grove at 10am. Anyone interested in attending is asked to contact the Friends first, so that they can be alerted to any weather-related cancellations.
The Friends also hold bi-monthly members' meetings at Long Lee Methodist Chapel on the last Wednesday of each month, from 7pm to 9pm.
Park Wood is known to date back to ancient times.
Parts of the wood are officially designated as Ancient Semi-Natural Woodland and Plantation on Ancient Woodland Site.
