A NOT-for-profit animal organisation has seen a surge in demand for its services.
In seven months alone, Animal Magic Family Health & Wellness Centre at Oakworth has received over 3,500 enquiries from pet owners.
The centre, which also includes a pet-friendly cafe and onsite dog day care facility, offers cost-price treatments.
"We are dedicated to helping pet owners access unrestricted and compassionate healthcare for their animals," says manager Amy Winter.
"At a time when many people are facing hardship, we aim to remove the financial barriers that have long stood between pets and the care they need.
"The response from the public has been overwhelming, with many people travelling over 100 miles just to reach us."
She says the organisation welcomes additional support.
"Our community-driven solution is making a huge impact but support and funding are crucial to sustain and expand our services," Amy adds.
