KEIGHLEY Aldi customers are being urged to nominate good causes to share in the company's Winter Fund.
The supermarket giant – which has a store at the Alexandra Mills site, in Keighley – is seeking charitable organisations to share in a £10,000 funding pot in the lead up to Christmas.
Shoppers are asked to email nominations to aldiwinterfund@citypress.co.uk, including the name and location of the organisation plus a short summary of why it needs support.
A panel of Aldi representatives will review all submissions before selecting those to receive a donation.
The initiative follows the success of a similar scheme staged last year, which saw 10 beneficiaries each awarded £1,000.
Liz Fox, for Aldi, says: "We know that the winter period can be an incredibly challenging time for many people, and that’s why we have relaunched our Winter Fund initiative.
"The response to last year’s call out was amazing, and as a result we were able to support lots of incredible charities with their work.
"We’re pleased to be able to help more organisations this year as they head into the winter months."
Nominations close on Monday, November 10.
