A litter of puppies found abandoned and unwell in woodland have been given a new start in life.
The five lurcher pups were discovered in Middleton Woods, Leeds, in October at just six weeks old, underweight, dirty, and in poor health.
After being handed over to Dogs Trust Leeds, the puppies received medical care, socialisation, and nurturing.
Kelly Walker, manager at Dogs Trust Leeds, said: "This gorgeous litter of lovely Lurchers may have had a tough start to life, but thanks to the wonderful support from the team at Dogs Trust Leeds, they're now fit, healthy, and in their forever homes.
"Each one of these puppies has their own unique personality, and we're glad that after being abandoned, we have been able to help find them homes where they can settle in and learn what it is to be a dog in a home.
