MEMBERS of a Keighley forum were transported back to the 1970s.
Malcolm Johnson gave a presentation, Charting the 1970s, to Keighley & District Men's Forum – dressed in his original 1974 wedding suit.
"It was a very interesting and amusing potted social history whirlwind – with nostalgia aplenty," says a forum spokesperson.
"Musically, the likes of Bowie, Abba, The Bee Gees and more were bookended by Joni Mitchell, and Ian Dury and The Blockheads.
"Board games introduced during the decade included Mastermind and Connect 4. And sporting achievements were also included.
"The top three films were Star Wars, Jaws and Grease.
"On a more serious note domestically, strikes, the three-day week and winter of discontent were discussed.
"It was all there in this 'time capsule'."
