PETS at Home is inviting families to take part in free Easter workshops across its stores.
The 45-minute Pet Pals sessions aim to teach children about animal care, focusing on pet behaviour, friendship, and housing needs.
Dr Samantha Butler-Davies, MRCVS, Veterinary Services Director at Pets at Home, said: “Another break from school means another Pet Pals workshop!
"This programme provides children across the UK with valuable insights into pet care, guided by our experienced Petcare Advisors.
"Over the years, nearly 900,000 children have participated in the Pet Pals programme, demonstrating our commitment to providing responsible pet ownership education to the next generation.”
The workshops are led by in-store pet care advisors and include interactive demonstrations, activity sheets, and colouring activities.
Children will also have the opportunity to handle small animals under supervision.
Sessions start at 2pm, and each child will receive a certificate, character headband, and stickers to take home.
Pets at Home has an outlet at Keighley Retail Park, Hard Ings Road.
They will run from Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, April 19 in England, Northern Ireland, and Scotland.
In Wales, sessions will be held from Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, April 12.
