A ROAD in Keighley is set to temporarily close for water works.
Moorlands Avenue will be shut to traffic from outside No. 1 to No. 2 Moorlands Avenue.
The closure, which does not affect pedestrians, starts on July 27 at 11am and is estimated to last until 3pm, but it could potentially extend for up to 18 months if needed, according to the City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council.
Vehicles involved directly with the works are exempt from the restriction.
Traffic will be rerouted via the unaffected sections of Moorlands Avenue, Woodview Road, and Keighley Road.
The closure is due to works being carried out on or near the road.
The notice was issued under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, Section 14, and was published by Bradford Council's Director of Legal and Governance.
