A TEENAGER can now be sentenced for his part in the huge Dalton Mills fire after he was found guilty of three counts of rape.
Keaton Greenman will be sentenced at a later date.
Back in 2024, Greenman, with McKenzie Mottran, was found guilty of causing a devastating blaze at Dalton Mills on March 3, 2022.
The arson duo were set to be sentenced in January of last year but matters were adjourned until the conclusion of Greenman’s trial for serious sexual offences.
Rapist 'could easily overpower' victim
On Friday, he was found guilty of three counts of rape against the same victim following a trial at Bradford Crown Court.
The 19-year-old, formerly of Shelby Grange, Shipley, faced four counts of rape and five counts of sexual assault dating back to 2024.
He was acquitted by a jury of one count of rape and all charges of sexual assault.
The court heard that, during one of Keaton’s attacks, the victim said she felt helpless, froze, and waited for it to end.
She said she knew that he “could easily overpower her”.
The court heard that Greenman told the victim not to tell anyone what had happened.
Following the verdicts on Friday, he was remanded in custody.

Greenman also now faces being sentenced for his part in setting fire to the Keighley town centre mill.
Mr Recorder Mark Giuliani told Mottran he would have to wait until all separate matters against Greenman had been dealt with before the arson sentencing could take place.
Mottran, now 20, of Halifax Road, Hipperholme, and Greenman were found guilty of arson at Bradford Youth Court in August of 2024.
Videos downloaded by police from the duo’s mobile phones showed them exploring Grade II*-listed Genappe Mill and finding a small fire, which Greenman fed with pieces of a polystyrene gargoyle that may have been left behind by a film crew.
The resulting fire, which quickly spread through the building, involved 20 fire engines and other specialist equipment and needed firefighters on site for three days.
Damage to the mill was estimated to be £15 million.
Recorder Giuliani said there should be no piecemeal sentence for Mottran in relation to the fire at Dalton Mills, which he described as “a nationally important building”.
Sentencing following Greenman’s rape convictions was adjourned for at least eight weeks.
