A walking festival is set to return for its third year, promising an expanded programme of walks and outdoor events.

The Keighley Walking Festival will run from September 19 to October 4.

Councillor Andrea Walker, Keighley Town Mayor, said: "I am delighted to see the Keighley Walking Festival returning for its third year.

"The festival is a wonderful celebration of our area's natural beauty, heritage and community spirit.

"Walking is one of the simplest ways to improve health and wellbeing, and this programme offers something for everyone, whether you're discovering a new trail, learning about local history or simply enjoying time outdoors with friends and family.

"I encourage residents and visitors alike to take part and experience all that Keighley and the surrounding countryside have to offer."

The festival is designed to promote the physical and mental health benefits of walking while showcasing the unique landscapes, history, and communities that define the region.
