A ROAD closure has been announced due to water works.
The City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has issued a notice of a temporary road traffic regulation order for Clayton Rise, Keighley.
The notice was published on September 17.
The order prohibits all traffic on Clayton Rise from outside No. 2 to outside No. 32.
However, vehicles involved in the proposed works are exempt from this restriction.
Pedestrian access will remain unaffected.
The closure will be in place from 7am on September 28 until 7pm on October 2.
The council warned that the closure could remain in force for up to 18 months if necessary.
No alternative routes for vehicular traffic affected by the order will be available.
The closure is necessary to allow water works to be executed on or near Clayton Rise.
