A GROWING perfume business has announced expansion plans.
The Oud Project, known for its Arabian-inspired scents, opened a second market unit in Keighley Market on Saturday, September 19, following the success of its Darley Street Market location in Bradford.
A spokesperson for The Oud Project said: "Opening our second unit is a really exciting moment for The Oud Project.
"We’ve had a fantastic experience at Darley Street Market and the support from customers has given us the confidence to take the next step and open in Keighley.
"Arabian fragrances have become hugely popular, but we wanted to create somewhere where people can actually come in, explore different scents and find something that suits them, rather than simply buying a fragrance online without knowing what it smells like.
"We’re really proud to be growing as a local independent business and we’re looking forward to becoming part of the Keighley Market community."
The Oud Project specialises in high-quality Arabian and Middle Eastern-inspired fragrances, with a range of scents sourced from Dubai and across the Middle East.
Councillor Ian Walker, executive member for neighbourhoods and communities at Bradford Council, said: "It is great to see that The Oud Project is building on the success they have had at Darley Street Market."
