A PUB is set to host a disco-themed celebration as part of a wider weekend event.

The Cavendish in Keighley will take part in the September Pay Day Party Weekender, running from September 25 to 27.

The event is being organised by Proper Pubs, the community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns.

A spokesperson for Proper Pubs said: "This is set to be a sparkling payday weekend not to be missed!"

Visitors can look forward to disco classics, ABBA favourites and plenty of glittering fun.

Tofka Glitter Shots will be available, either on their own or as part of the 6-Shot Crown serve.

Special drinks include the Gold Brew, made with Tofka Glitter Liqueur and Tia Maria, and the Solid Gold, combining Tofka Glitter Liqueur with Take Blanco Tequila.

The Cavendish is one of 31 Proper Pubs venues across Yorkshire taking part in the event.

Others include the Crown Hotel and Malt Kiln Inn in Bradford.
