A volunteer group has salvaged a waterlogged mattress from a river.
River Worth Friends, a community group based in Keighley, removed the mattress from the River Worth near Dalton Bridge during a recent litter pick.
The group collected 10 bags of rubbish from Worth Bridge Road, Aireworth Grove, Dalton Lane, and Low Mill Lane.
On social media, River Worth Friends said: "The team removed 10 bags of litter from Worth Bridge Road, Aireworth Grove, Dalton Lane and Low Mill Lane, as well as finally getting a mattress out of the River Worth at Dalton Bridge.
"A few weeks ago, several of us managed to drag the waterlogged mattress to the side, where we left it to drain and dry out a bit.
"Today we finally got the thing up the bank and over the wall, ready for the council to collect."
