GAS works are set to close a section of a road in Denholme.

The works will be taking place on Station Road, from its junction with Stradmore Road to outside number 12 Station Road.

The closure will begin at 8am on November 2 and is expected to last until 5pm on November 20.

Bradford Council has confirmed that the closure could stay in place for up to 18 months if necessary.

Pedestrian access will not be affected, and vehicles connected to the works will still be able to use the road.

Alternative routes for other drivers have been arranged via the unaffected section of Station Road, Main Road, Knowles Street, and Stradmore Road.

The council issued the road closure notice under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The closure is due to gas works.

This notice was issued by Bradford ouncil.
