KEIGHLEY Cougars will be back in action before the end of 2026, after arranging a Christmas friendly with their neighbours.

Cougars will be facing community club Keighley Albion on Sunday, December 27, ahead of the new Championship season.

The two clubs continue to forge a strong relationship, with Cougars players helping out at training sessions for Albion juniors.

And at the end of the season, Albion chairman Richard Dibbin made the move to Cougars to become their head of rugby operations.

Cougars have marketed this friendly as “a massive local rugby league event uniting our town, our clubs and our community”.

Tickets for the game are available now, with hospitality details to be released soon.
