A ROAD in Riddlesden is set to be temporarily closed for telecommunication works.

Hospital Road will be closed to traffic from outside No.28 to No.44.

The closure will begin at 8am on November 9 and will last until 6pm on November 11.

City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has provided this information under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The closure will not affect vehicles involved in the telecommunication works, and pedestrian access will be maintained throughout.

Motorists can use alternative routes via the unaffected section of Hospital Road and Daleside Road.

The council has indicated that while the closure is expected to last three days, it may be extended for up to 18 months if necessary.
