Seven men arrested following an attack in a Keighley street have been released on police bail.

Investigations are continuing into the incident, which happened shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.

A group of Asian men got out of a red Toyota Corolla in Redcliffe Street and set upon the occupants of a silver vehicle with sticks.

Minutes later officers attended a crash involving the same Toyota and a blue Ford Focus in Green Head Lane, Utley. Four Asian men from the Toyota were seen running away and two occupants of the Focus were still at the scene when officers arrived.

The arrested men - two aged 18, two 19, one 20-year-old and the others 35 and 37 - were held on suspicion of affray.

Two men needed hospital treatment for laceration wounds.

Airedale and North Bradford Police have made a renewed appeal for witnesses or anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
