The Duke of Kent made tracks for the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway (K&WVR) yesterday afternoon.
His Royal Highness – who became patron of the K&WVR Preservation Society following a visit to the railway in 2008 – yesterday rode on a footplate for 45 minutes (pictured, on the left), unveiled a plaque and chatted with volunteers on the five-mile line.
The K&WVR is this year celebrating its 50th anniversary.
