A NETWORKING group will welcome Keighley MP John Grogan to its next meeting.

The Airedale Aspire branch of Business Network International (BNI) has a breakfast meeting at Steeton Hall Hotel every Thursday, at 6.45am.

A ten-minute talk from a member is followed by a short training session and an exchange of business referrals.

Earlier this year, the group celebrated smashing through the £3 million mark for business generated between members since its launch seven years ago.

Professions represented range from an accountant and energy broker to an architect and financial advisor.

The meeting on Thursday (Oct 5) will also see Andrew Wood, a Sue Ryder fundraiser, take over as president.

Retiring president, Jon Crossley, said: "We're delighted to welcome our MP to see our group in action.

"We know that the more members we have, the more income we can generate for each other, so we hope that Mr Grogan's attendance will encourage potential new members from the business community.

"The best way for people to see if BNI is for them is to come along as a visitor and witness the group in action."
