A PACKAGING firm has a new appointment wrapped-up.

Kenton Robbins is PFF Packaging Group's new group managing director.

He succeeds Andy Bairstow, who will continue as chief executive officer.

The appointment comes at a time of continued business growth and development for the company, based in Royd Ings Avenue, Keighley.

Recent "significant" investment has been made in injection moulding technology.

Mr Robbins has worked in both the public and private sectors for more than 23 years, including at director level for Dairy Crest and Uniq, formerly Unigate.

He also works closely with the Institute of Directors to help regional and national businesses with their economic development.

Mr Bairstow said: "We're delighted to welcome Kenton on board and look forward to working with him to build on the existing strengths of the business.

"He brings a wealth of experience which will help PFF capitalise on new business opportunities while ensuring that we continue to deliver the innovation, creativity and quality for which we are renowned."

The group also has a 100,000sqft manufacturing facility and £1m innovation centre at Washington, Tyne & Wear.
