A CULLINGWORTH businessman has collected another accolade.

Robin Luscombe, managing director of a Suzuki and Mitsubishi dealership in Leeds, received the 'excellence in customer service' prize at the Automotive Management Awards.

More than 1,000 people attended the presentation ceremony, in Birmingham.

It was the company's fourth success in the awards scheme since 2012 and follows a record year for the firm, which saw sales rise by five per cent and revenue by 21 per cent.

"I'm thrilled we've won this latest award because it confirms that our 'customer-first' culture – embraced by our entire team – has now been acknowledged as the best in the business!" said Mr Luscombe.

"To be recognised as the best dealership in the UK is not only brilliant for the staff, but it also gives customers trust and confidence, which is vital when making a big purchase."

The dealership was also recently hailed as the first nationally to be awarded 'working to become dementia friendly' status.

"We wanted to be more aware of how to identify dementia sufferers and there are many little things we can do to ease the stress involved for both the sufferer and their partner," added Mr Luscombe.
