A DENTAL company has plenty to smile about.

Ethoss Regeneration Ltd is continuing its global expansion after signing a distribution deal in the Middle East following a visit to a trade show.

The award-winning firm – based at Ryefield Court, Silsden – took its primary product Ethoss, which helps regenerate bone to support dental implants,?to the AEEDC?Dubai?2018 event.

And at the show, bosses agreed a deal with a distributor to cover Jordan.

They also met with partners from the UAE, Lebanon, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Kenya.

The latest market expansion of Ethoss follows the company's rapid growth and use of the technology across Europe over the last two years.??

The firm posted a 187 per cent increase in turnover for the 2016-17 financial year.

Managing director, Dr Paul Harrison, ?said the company had received "great" feedback from potential distributors as it continued its push to reach new markets across the world.

He said: "This was our first experience of discussing Ethoss with partners from the Middle East, North Africa?and South Asia?(MENASA) region, and the response has been phenomenal.

"From end-users to distributors, we had consistent feedback about the benefits of being able to use an ethical synthetic material, as well the advantages Ethoss provides with regards to healing times.

"We have already agreed distribution partnerships covering several markets and we're now looking forward to satisfying the growing demand for Ethoss in dental markets across the MENASA?region."

AEEDC Dubai?is the second biggest event of its kind in the world, attracting more than 50,000?delegates?from 130 countries?over three days.

Ethoss, which started in 2015, is already making inroads into global markets after signing distribution deals with partners in Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium and France.

Its main product is free from any animal or human content and generates 50 per cent new bone for the patient after 12 weeks.

Bosses say this process means surgical procedures can be completed more quickly and reliably.

The product does not require an expensive separate collagen membrane to be used in the procedure.

It reduces the cost to dentists and patients and helps to speed up healing times.
