A KEIGHLEY solicitor has achieved a coveted qualification.
Mark Shaw has passed with distinction the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) advanced qualification in cross border estates.
The course covers issues which should be considered when dealing with an estate with a cross-border element.
Mr Shaw qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and joined AWB Charlesworth six years ago as a specialist in wills, trusts and probate work.
He specialises in complex estate administration.
Liam O’Neill, the firm’s head of private client, pays tribute.
“We all recognise the time and commitment Mark has put into achieving this outstanding result,” he said.
“I am particularly pleased that he is building-up further experience and expertise in an area of the law which holds a particular interest for him.
“We are proud to invest in training for our staff.”
