BUS operator Transdev Blazefield has welcomed aboard a new recruit.
Ben Garcia has joined the firm – which includes Keighley Bus Company – as a graduate management trainee.
He grew-up in Torremolinos, where his family lived for eight years, before moving to Brighton.
His first experience of working in the bus industry was as a teenager in the south-coast resort, onboard an open-top bus.
Ben studied politics and history at Plymouth University, and spent a year studying in Colorado.
During his time in the south-west, he also worked at the travel shop of Plymouth Citybus.
Ben said he was delighted at his new appointment.
He added: "I'm very much looking forward to travelling on our network in Lancashire and Yorkshire and meeting people throughout the business."
Transdev Blazefield chief executive officer, Alex Hornby, praised Ben's "enthusiasm and passion" for public transport.
"They are ideal qualities for his role and I'm thrilled Ben has joined our team," he said.
