A CHARITY golf day holed £21,000.
The event was staged by housebuilder Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, whose schemes include Vision in Keighley and Saxon Dene, Silsden.
Proceeds from the annual event are being split between the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Candlelighters, the children’s cancer charity which is Barratt’s chosen cause for the year.
The company will also be sponsoring an accolade at Candlelighters’ annual awards ceremony, recognising the contribution of volunteers.
David Coe, land director at Barratt Developments Yorkshire West, said: “The charity golf day once again proved hugely successful and raised significant funds for charity.
“It was fantastic to see so many members of our team turn out to support both charities. We look forward to seeing how the money raised will help both causes – and to raising more money in the future. Thanks go to our supply chain for purchasing fourballs and to those who very kindly provided auction items.”
