A STEETON company is backing a national festive toy appeal for a third year.
Acorn Stairlifts is asking employees to buy an extra gift and donate it to the Mission Christmas campaign.
And the firm has opened a drop-off point at its premises so members of the public can contribute.
Last year, Mission Christmas distributed presents to more than 294,000 disadvantaged children across the UK.
Gifts can be left at the Acorn Stairlifts reception, Telecom House, Millennium Business Park, Station Road, anytime.
They should be new, unwrapped and suitable for a girl or boy aged from baby to 18.
Acorn Stairlifts facilities manager Jayne Teale said: “Mission Christmas is a fantastic appeal, bringing joy to hundreds of thousands of children at a special time of year. We’re delighted to get behind it and hope local people will join us.”
The appeal closes on Friday, December 13.
