TWO cars were destroyed in separate fires in Keighley overnight.
At 9.40pm last night a fire crew from the Keighley Station was called to Khus Walk, off Hainworth Wood Road, after a report of a burning car.
They found that the vehicle was a Ford Fiesta in a communal parking area.
A fire station spokesman said the car was gutted, but could not confirm the exact cause of the blaze.
At 1am today the Keighley fire crew was called to Berry Street, off Dalton Lane, to tackle a blazing Toyota Avensis parked on the road outside a house.
The spokesman said this fire was mainly confined to the rear of the vehicle and its engine compartment, but added that the car had still been written off.
He said it was possible this blaze had been started deliberately.
Both incidents are being investigated by police.
