SILSDEN Whitestar did the double over FC Sporting Keighley last week to maintain their 100 per cent start in the Skipton Body Repair Centre Craven League Premier Division.

Ben Geary scored the only goal in Saturday’s clash as Whitestar followed up their 2-1 midweek triumph, which had been secured with strikes from Zac Conway and John Berry.

Bilal Hayat was on target for the losers, for whom Shazad Khan was their man of the match.

Whereas Whitestar have won all their first four games, bottom team Earby Town have lost all four.

They suffered a 3-0 reverse at Wilsden Athletic, who gained their second win of the season thanks to goals from Thomas Beetham, Joel Hardy and Max Whittaker.

Broomhill followed up a 5-0 hammering of Bingley Juniors open age side – Andy Tanner bagging a hat-trick with Bradley Coles and Michael Turner also on target – with a 1-1 draw at home to Cowling.

However, they finished with nine men as Ben Manning and Matty Kershaw received red cards.

Patrick King scored for Broomhill, while Craig Gregory registered for Cowling, who received three bookings.

Steve Davies netted for Oxenhope Thirds as they were beaten 5-1 at Division One leaders Carleton.

Oliver Stephenson hit four goals as Division Three leaders Silsden Whitestar thrashed Earby Town Reserves 10-2.
