COUGARS have added another string to their bow with the launch of an open age women's team.
Following a successful trial on Monday, Keighley are set to enter a team in the Merit League.
They will be overseen by Cougars' head of development Frank Levy and coached by the club's head of school delivery Darren Greenwood and Jimmy Hall.
League fixtures are set to take place every three to four weeks, with the possibility of friendlies in between.
The new venture means Cougars have another asset alongside their first team, reserves and development set-up.
Training for the women's team will be on Mondays at Cougar Park.
