KAYODE Odejayi booked Guiseley a place in the next round of the FA Cup with a 76th-minute winner in a 2-1 victory at Nethermoor against Cleethorpes tonight.
Having scored two late goals to clinch a 2-2 draw at home on Saturday, Cleethorpes continued to prove dogged opponents in the third qualifying round replay.
In a goalless first half, Kingsley James had to clear off the line for the Lions and Brady Robertson also hit a post for the visitors.
Guiseley went ahead on the hour-mark when Scott Smith was brought down in the box. Though the initial penalty was saved, Will Hatfield made no mistake from the rebound.
However, Cleethorpes were level when Jon Oglesby netted on 71 minutes before Odejayi headed in the crucial winner to set up a home tie with Stourbridge in the next round.
Farsley Celtic enjoyed a 3-1 win in the Evo-Stik League Premier Division at Stafford Rangers.
All the goals came in the second half goals as Luke Parkin and Ben Atkinson struck to put Celts in control.
Jake Charles pulled one back but Jimmy Spencer made the game safe with a third late on.
West Riding County FA Cup first round results: Goole AFC 3 Albion Sports 3 (Goole won 4-3 on penalties), Liversedge 3 Campion 2, Tadcaster Albion 3 Eccleshill United 1, Barnoldswick Town 2 Silsden 0.
