OAKENSHAW set up a Senior Cup quarter-final tie with Olympic after holding their nerve in a penalty shootout at Wibsey.

The sides shared four goals before they had to be separated by spot-kicks, sub James Gorman and Joe Walsh finding the target for the visitors while Luke Hepton and Jacob Thompson were on target for Wibsey.

Oakey progressed thanks to a 4-3 win on penalties.

Two other ties in the Bradford Sunday Alliance knock-out had to be decided via the same method as Tyersal let a 5-1 lead slip at home to Thornton United and then lost the shootout.

Goals for the home team were scored by Adam Jarrett (2), Liam Charles,Warren Rooney and Leon Wood but Premier Division Thornton pulled back a four-goal deficit and won 3-0 on penalties.

Station Hotel and Westwood Park shared six goals before the home team Hotel won the shoot-out 4-2.

Ryan Basi, Dom Staunton and Paul McDonagh found the net for Station in open play.

Premier Division high-fliers Crossflatts continued their form in the cup as they overpowered Wrose Bull 5-1 at home.

Brandon Hammond notched a brace for the league leaders, while Michael Garnett, Lewis Morgan and Matty Morgan also weighed in with goals.

In the Premier Division, West Bowling returned to winning ways and moved into fourth position after beating Ventus Yeadon 8-0. Joe Jagger hit a hat-trick and Wayne Sparkes bagged a brace for the home team.

Defending champions Olympic and Sandy Lane shared four goals and the points in a 2-2 draw.

Olympic remain in fifth place - one of three teams locked on 12 points along with West Bowling and Oakenshaw.

Keighley Town suffered only their second Championship defeat since joining the Alliance from the Wharfedale Triangle League in the summer.

They lost 3-0 at home to eighth-placed AFC Titans as Michael Kelley, James Royal and Ben McArdle found the net.

But Keighley are still in pole position with Wrose Bull and Northern only a point behind, with each having a game in hand.
