Keighley Cougars pair Davey Dixon and Kieran Moran have been named in the Scotland train-on squad for the upcoming European Championships.

The European Championships, which also double up as qualifiers for the 2021 World Cup, will be the Bravehearts' first campaign under newly appointed joint head coaches Chris Chester and John Duffy.

Scotland will play away fixtures against Ireland and France either side of a home fixture against Wales as they look to secure their place in the expanded World Cup in three years' time in England.

The top two teams from the European Championships qualify automatically for the showpiece event with the bottom two teams earning a second chance in qualifiers next year alongside Italy, Norway or Greece and the top 2 teams from the European B section.
