BRADFORD & Bingley are looking forward to returning to the comforts of Wagon Lane tomorrow in North One East.

The Bees suffered a 34-20 defeat at leaders York last Saturday which coach Anthony Posa described as a “little bit disappointing”.

He added: “We try to keep improving every week but there was always going to be one game where we didn’t.

“The first half was disappointing but the last quarter was excellent.”

Bradford & Bingley are set to be without scrum-half Dan Nota and three-quarter Aaron Magee due to injury at home to Pocklington, but welcome debutant Harry Gallagher in the second row.

Cleckheaton’s Achilles heel – poor discipline – came back to haunt them in a 34-19 setback at former leaders Morpeth.

Coach Thiu Barnard explained: “We got three yellow cards and it was game over.

“They got two tries after we got a yellow card just before half-time and scored another early in the second half, but came close to getting a four-try bonus point.”

Cleckheaton are without experienced centre Mike Swetman at home to West Leeds due to a knee injury.

Bradford Salem hope to have Latvian Gundars Griekis back for their Yorkshire Division One derby at Old Rishworthians but have an injury doubt over prop Will Collins.

Salem lost in a try-fest there last season but the five tries that the visitors scored in the second half was enough to keep them up.

Keighley also face Halifax opposition away – Old Brodleians.

Old Grovians are set to hand debuts to former Bradford Salem prop Richard Brook and ex-Baildon centre Luke Robinson at West Park Leeds, and also recall winger Cam Dennis.

Grovians scored a last-minute try to earn a 30-30 draw at home to Wheatley Hills last weekend but injuries to Max Kennedy (concussion) and Toby Harris (hamstring) – who Grovians’ head coach Dan Nulty described as the two fastest players on the pitch - just before half-time did not help the visitors’ cause.

Baildon, who lost 20-10 at Leeds Corinthians on Saturday, bring in experience in centre Marcus Dracup and hooker Dale Tabiner, as well as Tom Cluett, for their home match against Harrogate Pythons in Yorkshire Division Three.

Unbeaten Wibsey have doubts over full back Brad Wright (ankle), lock Marcus Grimes (hip) and prop John Bradbury (calf) for their home match against Thirsk in Yorkshire Division Four North West.
