PROP Jose Kenga has left Cougars to join Swinton Lions.
The forward follows youngster Harry Aaronson in making the switch from Keighley to the Championship club.
Kenga tweeted: "Really excited for what’s to come next year, I’d like to thank @Cougarmania for the opportunity given to me. I’m extremely grateful for it. We’ve had a very difficult year as a club, a lot has happened but I’ve really enjoyed my playing time at the club. Can’t wait to get started!"
He added: "This is something that I’ve been wanting for awhile and I’m just really happy for this opportunity. I had interest from clubs both in Championship and League One, but I was really sold by what this club is about and my development as a player.”
Meanwhile, homegrown second-rower Josh Lynam has given Cougars a boost with news that he has penned a fresh one-year deal to remain with Keighley.
