BARNOLDSWICK Town moved up to fourth in the Hallmark Security League Premier Division following a goalless draw at Congleton Town.
The visitors were looking to bounce back from a poor 5-0 home defeat to Charnock Richard the previous Saturday and they at least stopped the rot to keep a clean sheet.
Matt Barnes, Barnoldswick Town manager, was delighted his side grabbed a point on their travels at second-placed Congleton.
He tweeted after the game: "What a great point and attitude by our lads tonight after Saturday to go and be the better side in my opinion at a tough Congleton side.
"Massively proud of my squad, thanks to those who travelled to support us."
It was only Town's third draw from their first 23 league games this season. A record which includes 13 wins and seven defeats. The draw takes Town up to 42 points, seven behind third-placed Bootle.
Barlick hope to build on Tuesday night's stalemate when they travel to 17th-placed Winsford United in league action on Saturday (kick-off 3pm).
Meanwhile, Town have set up a West Riding FA County Cup semi-final leg against Guiseley.
Barlick will travel to Nethermoor after Vanarama National League North side Guiseley grabbed a 4-0 win at Yorkshire Amateur on Tuesday night.
